Halloween is going to look a little bit different this year. We are basically undecided in every way. We’re still not quite sure our trick-or-treating plan but we do know we’re going to cozy up to watch a spooky movie at night. Roux’s school is doing a safe “Noah’s Ark Parade” with each class. The kids get to dress up as an animal of their choice and sing songs for all the parents – who will wear masks & be distanced. We will definitely be eating some fall treats we love. I’m thinking of making the Pumpkin Gooey Butter Cake again this year – but closer to Halloween!
We’re still not sure which movie we’re going to watch. Something spooky but not TOO spooky for a toddler. We’ll probably just see what’s on Disney+ but drop your recommendations in the comments if your family has a favorite Halloween movie!
We will do a family-themed costume of some kind again this year, but currently, Roux is requesting a skeleton + ghost combo – so wish me luck on that! I figured I can still be Halloween themed until we decide! This is definitely a favorite holiday for Roux!
