I’m so excited Easter is almost here! We don’t have any major plans, but I started gathering new kitchenware and items for Roux’s Easter basket so I thought I would share what I found!
When it comes to Roux’s Easter basket, I like to pick a theme to help me stay on track with the kind of gifts I’m buying. Some examples of ‘themes’ I love are below:
- Arts & crafts: stickers, markers, playdoh, slime, paints, chalk, crayons, activity books
- Swim & Beach: goggles, towel, fins, suit, water toys, water balloons
- Outdoor Play: bubbles, sunglasses, chalk, gardening toys, flower seeds, kite, nature collecting kits, hat, hair accessories, water bottle
- Games: frisbee, puzzles, toy cars/dolls, legos, bath bombs, bike/scooter accessories
- Cooking: apron, play food, cookie cutters, sprinkles, reusable straws, new fun plate ware

This year, we’re doing lots of educational workbooks and toys! We usually do an Easter egg hunt and at the end of the hunt, he finds his basket. Check out what we’re getting Roux below!
