If you follow me on Insta, you probably know we’re preparing for the ovarian stimulation phase coming up in July. That means my supplement routine has changed [ if you’re looking for my FET supplement routine you can find that here ]. I’m now taking eight different supplements at different times in order to stay on track with my doctor’s recommendations.
[ If you’re new here { HI!!} you can read more about my story here. ]
Below are the supplements and a breakdown of how much I’m taking, when I’m taking each supplement, and some details regarding pricing for the next phase.
As expected, each supplement needs to be taken at a certain time of day. Here is how I’m staying organized.
- TheraCore: daily
- CoQ10 200mg BID
- DHEA 25mg TID
- Melatonin: 3mg at night
- Vitamin C: 500mg daily
- L-Arginine: 1000mg By Mouth Twice a Day
- Vitamin E: 180mg or 400IUs By Mouth Once a Day (Nature Made and Sundown Natural both make these at this dose)
- Vitamin D: 1 capsule + 6 drops at night
I am also taking birth control which I started BEFORE the ovarian stimulation phase.
It’s important to note, this is the tentative plan for ovarian stimulation medications for ME and my body’s needs. You can expect a variation of this depending on what YOUR body needs!
I will also have to take some additional medications for the ovarian stimulation phase. I thought it would be helpful to detail the insurance quotes I received regarding those medications so you can have an understanding of the additional fees that you may incur as you go through this process.
Medications for Ovarian Stimulation:
- Azithromycin: $5.03 (ran through insurance)
- Cetrotide: $448 - 8 day supply / coupon applied
- Gonal-F: (4) $3024 - 8 day supply / with two refills
- Lupron: (1) $195
- Menopur (30) - 5 day supply / $2609.70 [I will need 60, not 30]
- Novarel: (2) $197.78
I know it’s SO MUCH information and and a HUGE financial investment but it’s so worth it!
If you have ANY questions you can leave them below, shoot me an email [ [email protected] ] or even DM me on Insta. I LOVE connecting with mamas going through the same process. It’s so stressful and having the right support system is EXACTLY what we all need.
