🌤Today is a normal day…. just like every other.
Except it isn’t.
Today marks my 3rd anniversary as a Team Beachbody Coach. January 14th, 2013. 🗓
Hoo-Rah! Happy Anniversary Team!
It’s just a NORMAL thing for me to feel grateful everyday. Today, just like everyday, I am extremely appreciative of this company, this network, Dynasty United, my challengers, and the journey God has laid out for me.
I’ve been living out my PASSION of helping women for THREE FULL YEARS now.
💉I haven’t started an IV, called a doctor for orders, done CPR, charted I&O’s, or done a pain assessment for 2.5 years. I miss so much of it - but I have so many opportunities to do work that is parallel with my nursing career. My potential reach - is now much further.
I never set an alarm clock, unless I want to.
I work with some of my best friends.
I get to create.
I mentor.
I encourage - for a LIVING!
I want to tell you a little story about the most impactful thing I learned to do in my business. It is so special to me - so I talked to my team about it today - and I continue to practice this skill, even now.
As a new coach - I visualized. 👀
In 2013 - I started with my WHY.
I didn’t know a THING about being a coach, being a leader or entrepreneur; I knew nothing about social media. People doubted me. Friends were annoyed by me. I messed up a ton. I sacrificed a lot. I didn’t know if I’d succeed.
But I DID know why I chose to become a coach….
1. Accountability for my own fitness
2. My family (more time & freedom)
3. To help WOMEN & their families
From there… I developed POSITIVE AFFIRMATION statements… in the PRESENT tense … I wrote out how I felt when I was living out my why. (Remember this was in 2013 - before I made a dime or had a CLUE how to build a business. It was all in the FUTURE! It’s all about that VISION!) 🚂
I read these statements every single day. I visualized every single morning. My morning went like this:
P90X in tiny apartment
Mix up delicious recovery formula
Sit on apartment tiny balcony with Ruca
Visualize
And it set me up for success - not just financially… but in my mind. I WON in my mind before I even stepped into “the arena”. So I didn’t care when people told me I was crazy - or said no - or misunderstood. I KNEW WHY I WAS DOING THIS. 🏆
Eventually friends & family came around & saw my passion & reason for doing this. But they didn’t get it at first, that’s fine. I don’t need someone’s permission to accomplish MY dreams…. Do you?🎟
These were my positive visualization statements that I read OUT LOUD every morning for 10-15 minutes. Remember… I was doing this as a NEW coach who had NO success under her belt….
It’s incredible that what I visualized in 2013 is ACTUALLY the life I LIVE today. That’s powerful!
1. As a coach, I feel strong, happy, empowered, loved, relieved, confident & at peace because I have balance in life with fitness & nutrition.
2. As a coach, I feel significant, exhilarated, overjoyed, valued & excited because I am helping military wives improve their quality of life during deployment & helping improve their financial standing.
3. As a coach I feel accomplished, enthusiasm, relieved, responsible, overjoyed, significant, happy, honored, excited, & loved because we are changing our future financially before we even have kids.
☁There is a difference between DREAMING and VISUALIZING☁
When you visualize - you GO THERE in your mind first, and then you align your actions. You ACT on it. You become rooted and CONFIDENT in the reason you are working so hard. 🌱
I am so excited to think about the 2013 ME’s out there. 🙋
I think about the women who are sick of quitting. They want more for their families. They want more for themselves. They know they can help others, somehow. They know they can love the life they live. They are willing to work hard & are ready to go after what is possible.
I think about THEM every day.
Each 6am zoom call.
Each 2am creative project.
Every email, graphic, video, template.
I think about them.
I picture them making 6 figures in a year & FREAKING OUT.
I picture them feeling prepared for their future & CRYING out of RELIEF.
I think of the happier marriages without MONEY FIGHTS.
I think of the future babies who have their PARENTS at every milestone reached, game played, and doctor appointment.
I think of the TRAVEL they will experience.
I think of the RIPPLE EFFECT they will have as they generously give to others in need.
On January 14th, 2013 - Dynasty United started with just one person, me.
Now, I can’t even believe my eyes when I see what this team has done & how it’s grown. It is the biggest blessing in our lives & a true JOY to be a part of. 🙆🏼
